Team: Dissolving Walls

Kate is our Curate, which means she will soon become a vicar, and is with us for three years as she completes her training.

So she:
- plans and leads services
- writes and delivers sermons
- spends time with people, talking with them if they need to chat, or helping them to understand more of who Jesus is
- and much more!

Kate also co-ordinates all our "Dissolving Walls" activities - those things that we do to bridge gaps between us and our community, to welcome people in to church and to take church and Jesus' love out to them.

This includes:

- running Alpha courses and Journeys courses about three times a year to help people explore what Christian faith is really all about
- getting people involved in practical things like gardening for those who can't manage it on their own - showing God's love in action
- building links with the local community (especially the estates) and developing friendships with families there
- and much more!
