Giving

Jesus was clear that our attitude to money is important, and that following him involves trusting him with our finances, giving thankfully in response to God's generosity.

The financial burden is light if we all play our part, and God will bless what we give

We believe that God is actively interested in our giving and that the Bible suggests a "tithe", for church members, of 10%.

The money given to the church helps us to run our services, ministries and activities, support our mission partners, bless the parish community, and meet the day to day running costs of our staff team and buildings.

You can make a one-off secure donation now by pressing this button:

Giving regularly

It really helps us administer our resources effectively if members of the Ascension give regularly. There are two ways to do this:

1. By using the standing order mandate form to set up a standing order with your bank

2. Through your employer's payroll giving scheme, if they have one, usually called "Give As You Earn". Ask your Human Resources department for more information.

Increase your gift at no cost with GiftAid

If you pay UK income or capital gains tax and give us permission to claim it back, we can recover an additional 28p for each pound you give, at no cost to you.

Please fill in and sign a GiftAid declaration if you haven't done so already, so we can do this.

If you pay higher rate tax, you may also recover further tax paid on donations through your tax return.
