We believe Jesus was pretty clear that our attitude towards money is an important aspect of life, in which the reality of whole hearted discipleship is worked out. Biblical discipleship involves trusting Jesus with our finances and allowing him to call the shots here as in other areas of life.

The Bible teaches that discipleship and trust in that area are evidenced by our financial giving in thankful response to the generosity of God. We believe that God is actively interested in our giving and that the Bible suggests a tithe of 10%.

On a practical note, the money given to the church helps us to run our activities. We use it to support our mssion partners, bless the parish community trhough our various ministries and run Alpha, as well as to meet the day to day running costs of our staff team and buildings.
