Street Pastor teams go out on the streets of Balham one Friday night a month between 10.00 pm and 2.00 am to listen to, care for and help those they meet.
Street Pastors is an exciting, growing national initiative that now sees teams go out in hundreds of cities and towns throughout the UK - working in partnership with local councils and the police, having a positive effect on their areas and reducing crime. It's an inspiring practical way of the church being present on the streets, just as Jesus was.
Training happens twice a year, beginning in March and September, and if you're interested in joining the team, we'd love to hear from you.
