Weddings, Baptisms and Confirmations
Weddings
Anyone who regularly attends Ascension or who lives in the parish (map) can tie the knot in this church. We find couples appreciate our friendly, flexible approach. We also offer marriage preparation classes to help couples lay firm foundations for their life together.
Baptism for children and adults
We offer baptism services for children and adults who are either regular attenders or live in the parish. Baptism of babies is normally at our 11.00 am service on the first Sunday of the month. Parents are invited to an Introduction to Baptism evening, and encouraged to come to Sunday services. Anyone considering baptism is encouraged to explore the Christian faith through the Alpha Course.
Confirmation
Confirmation services - for believing adults who have already been baptised - are normally held once a year, and people considering this step are also invited to the Alpha Course.
